Limited Five Year Warranty:

The Belgian Shade Company, (DM Cross Associates, LLC. d.b.a. The Belgian Shade Company) warrants that its window coverings products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase PROVIDED THAT (i) such products were properly installed in residential dwellings; and (ii) such products were made or assembled exclusively from Inside materials and components.

The obligation of The Belgian Shade Company is limited to repair or replacement of the window covering product or components found to be defective and excludes shipping charges and costs of removal and reinstallation. Repairs will be made with like or similar parts.

To obtain warranty service, contact the dealer or retailer from whom you purchased the product. Your dealer/retailer will work with The Belgian Shade Company to promptly repair or replace any defective parts or components without charge. This warranty does not cover any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, exposure to the elements, excessive humidity, fading or discoloration over time, or failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance. This warranty also does not cover any condition or damage resulting from removal of the product or reinstallation in the same or another window or application.

This warranty does not apply to conditions caused by normal wear and tear upon the product.

ANY WARRANTIES, WHETHER WRITTEN OR IMPLIED, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO FIVE (5) YEARS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE BELGIAN SHADE COMPANY OR ITS LICENSED FABRICATORS/DISTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR ANY OTHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGE, LOSS, COST, EXPENSE OR FEE FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
